Brain Training Method in 3 Simple Steps

1. Reset the Brain

   A tired brain has a hard time waking up. That’s why one of the simplest steps you can take—whether you order Super Undies or not—is to give your child an extra 30 minutes of sleep each night. This helps erase any sleep debt and keeps their brain from sinking into sleep that’s too deep to notice the bladder signal.

   When the brain is overtired, it also struggles to regulate vasopressin—the hormone that tells the body to slow down urine production at night.

   
   

2. Light Up That Signal

   Disposables don't work. There’s no sense of “going,” so the brain doesn’t hear the pre-peeing signals responsible for waking a kid up. By switching to sensory underwear, you light up that signal with a full-on wet feeling—giving your now-reset brain the best chance of catching the pre-peeing tingling that happens.

3. Prime the subconscious

Leaks are not ideal and we work to mitigate them, however they do still serve the brain training method.

Preventing leaks requires a good fit and the right absorbency in the right place. For instance, a girl may need a Super Soaker Liner in the center of the trainer, like a maxi-pad, since girls pee centrally downward. While a boy may need an absorbency boost with a Soaker Bomb in the front of the training pant, since they saturate primarily at the front of their bodies. Super Undies Brain Trainers have been uniquely developed to customize the placement of absorbency, and to allow for the expansion of absorbency in the cases that require it. The majority of children do not need more absorbency beyond what is included with your Brain Trainers, yet it is possible for your child to pee more than the trainer can absorb.
